Michael Vlamis sent out one of his newsletters yesterday, and tucked away in it was a little news about his film, 5 Years Apart. Vlamis announced that the film will be distributed by Gravitas Ventures, and is set to be released on August 21, with details coming of just exactly how to watch.

Vlamis stars in the film and is also a producer on it, too. The film originally premiered last September at the LA Indie Film Festival, where it sold out its screening.

5 Years Apart also stars Chloe Bennet, Scott Michael Foster, Ally Maki, and Craig Low. The film tells the story of two estranged brothers who were born on the same day, five years apart. When they suddenly run into each other at their family vacation home on their birthday weekend, they have wildly different expectations for how the weekend is going to play out.
