Prodigies, our long wait is over! After months of speculation, Fox has finally confirmed that Prodigal Son will return for season 2! The popular series will return for a second season in 2021. Fox announced the news on social media using a video of new footage of Ainsley titled “Let the Bad Angels Fall.”

Prodigal Son has been a hit for Fox since it premiered in fall 2019. It follows Malcolm Bright, a criminal profiler whose father happens to be a notorious serial killer, as he solves crimes and discovers new information about his father’s crimes. The series stars Tom Payne, Lou Diamond Phillips, Michael Sheen, Bellamy Young, Halston Sage, Aurora Perrineau, Keiko Agena, and Frank Harts. The full first season is available on Hulu now.
