30 Miles from Nowhere, is a “thriller/horror feature film about five ex-college buddies who return to the summer home of their youth for their scientist friend’s funeral. But mourning turns to terror when they realize their reunion is not at all what it seems.”
The film stars Rob Benedict (whom we love and you know him from Supernatural, Kings of Con, and his music with Louden Swain and The Station Breaks), Emmy-winner Carrie Preston, Cathy Shim, Seana Kofoed, Postell Pringle, Marielle Scott, William Smillie and more.
The film is directed by Caitlin Koller.
Here’s more about the story:
After the suicide of their old college pal, five friends (and one new girlfriend) descend upon the Wisconsin summer home they frequented in their youth. The creep factor at the cabin is high, with a thumping in the crawlspace, blood spurting from the pipes, and a cockroach infestation in the guest bedroom. When a dead man starts appearing at the windows, they begin to wonder who they buried, if not their friend, and find themselves faced with the ultimate human dilemma, to kill or be killed, in order to make it to morning.
