On February 29, 2020, the city of Miramichi, New Brunswick Canada, held its first Chi-Con: Miramichi’s Comic & Cosplay Convention. Chi-Con is a convention to celebrate comics, cosplayers, and the fandoms that bring us together. The one-day event had panels, cosplay contests, games, various vendors, and more. It was such a success that they are already in the planning process for next year’s Chi-Con.
But it doesn’t end there. With what is going on in the world currently, and the number of conventions and fan events that are having to cancel and postpone, they are putting together something special. From the comfort of your own home, you can watch Virtu-Con 2020, a free one-day virtual convention being held on Facebook April 4 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature vendors, trivia, contest, panels, and special guests.
Well, today, one of those special guests were announced. Jim Beaver from Deadwood, Justified, and Supernatural will be holding a 30-minute Q & A where some lucky fans will get to ask him some questions.
