In the trailer, we get a glimpse at the new suit Kara (Melissa Benoist) will be wearing. It seems to focus on everyone’s technology dependency and uses it as escapism. Will the new threat be using that to their advantage?
Two new characters will join as series regulars, Julie Gonzalo (Veronica Mars) as Andrea Rojas also known as Acrata, a businesswoman making aggressive advances in the world of media while holding a mystical secret.
Also joining the cast is Staz Nair (Game of Thrones) as reporter William Day who is there to work and looks down on Kara’s earnest idealism. William is not a character from the DC Universe; he is an original character for the show. Both characters will make their appearances during the first episode of season five.
