Jon Bernthal is returning to the role of Frank Castle/The Punisher for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Daredevil revival series — Daredevil: Born Again.
Bernthal is joining the cast which already comprises of Charlie Cox returning as the titular character Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio returning as Wilson Fisk. The series is set to have the most episodes for a Marvel Studios Disney+ series thus far with a whopping 18-episode run vs. the normal six to nine episodes.
Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to write and executive produce the project, which is expected on Disney+ Spring of 2024.
