On March 17, Disturbed took the stage at Capital One Arena for their The Sickness 25th Anniversary tour with Sevendust and Three Days Grace. The stadium was packed and the crowd was hyped for an amazing way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the 25th anniversary of their favorite band. The show was nothing short of spectacular with amazing pyrotechnics, with lead singer David Draiman starting the show being wheeled out in a straight jacket and a moment in an electric chair that really played up the theatrics of the music.
Sevendust and Three Days Grace opened the night up with some fan favorites. Sevendust played six of their songs including “Denial”, and “Crucified”, and closed with “Face to Face”.
Three Days Grace wowed the crowd with “I Hate Everything About You” (a personal favorite), “Animal I Have Become”, and “Never Too Late”, closing with “Riot”. Sevendust and Three Days Grace were the perfect bands to open up for Disturbed, getting the crowd amped for what was to come.
Disturbed opened their set with “Voices” and played other fan favorites like, “Down With the Sickness” and their cover of “Sound of Silence”. We were all really excited when they did their own cover of Tears for Fears’ “Shout”, putting their spin on it, the crowd chanting along with their fists in the air. They closed the show out with “Inside the Fire” to a very happy crowd. The energy during the show was electric and it was truly an amazing experience.
