‘Sk8 the Infinty’ OVA Gets Release Date
Sk8 the Infinity‘s long-awaited OVA has finally recieved a release date!
The date was revealed in a commercial released following the rebroadcast of the anime’s first season on Japanese televison. The OVA was originally announced in August 2022.
The 25-minute OVA titled Sk8 the Infinity EXTRA PART will feature four new short stories:
- “Ame to Neko Konbini Aisu Soda Aji”, centered on Reki, Langa and Miya
- “Maji de Maji ni Nareru Koto”, centered on Joe and Cherry
- “Morning Routine”, centered on Adam and Tadashi
- “Ganbare, Hiromi-chan!”, centered on Shadow
It will release in theaters in Japan on January 24, 2025 before a physical release on March 19, 2025.
Bones animates the original anime from director Hiroko Utsumi, compostion writer Ichiro Okouchi, and character designer Michinori Chiba. The first season is available to stream on Crunchyroll in sub and dub formats. A second season is confirmed, but no release date is announced.
