HBO Picks Up ‘The Chair Company’ Starring Tim Robinson

Following a pilot order earlier this year, HBO has officially picked up the half-hour comedy The Chair Company. The series stars Tim Robinson, who also serves as a writer and executive producer alongside Zach Kanin.

The series follows a man named William Ronald Trosper (Robinson) who finds himself investigating a far-reaching conspiracy after an embarrassing incident at work.

In addition to Robinson, series regulars include Lake Bell as Barb Trosper, Sophia Lillis as Natalie Trosper, Will Price as Seth Trosper, and Joseph Tudisco as Mike Santini. Lou Diamond Phillips guest starred in the pilot as Jeff Levjman (which was directed and executive produced by Andrew DeYoung).

Adam McKay and Todd Schulman also serve as executive producers for HyperObject Industries, as well as Igor Srubshchik.
