‘Squid Game’: Netflix Announces Season 2 Premiere Date

Three years ago, the controversial Korean thriller series Squid Game took the world by storm. The 9-episode first season premiered on Netflix on September 17, 2021, and fans have eagerly awaited the second season. The wait is finally over. Netflix has revealed that the series will return with the second season this December.

The Korean drama from Netflix follows a group of adults facing high-stakes financial problems. When they accept an invitation to participate in a series of children’s games for a tempting cash prize, they quickly learn that playing comes at a deadly price.

In the upcoming second season, viewers can expect the introduction of new players as Lee Jung-Jae (The Acolyte) reprises his role as player 456, determined to seek revenge on the organizers of the deadly games.
