This year, the 10th annual Her Universe Fashion Show took place at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 26.
The event was co-hosted by Her Universe co-founder Ashley Eckstein and Broadway star Michael James Scott.
The fashion show highlighted 25 contestants who created innovative pieces and designs and is a one-of-a-kind show that is a staple of SDCC for many — including our staff.
For this year’s show, the theme celebrated fashion and geek couture — with Mattel approaching its 80th anniversary. The show had a special emphasis on the anniversaries of Barbie and Polly Pocket, both of which Eckstein showed off in specialized designs.
