iHeartPodcasts and School of Humans announced a new podcast series today, Tom Slick: Mystery Hunter. The series stars Owen Wilson, Sissy Spacek, and Schuyler Fisk.
The eight-part series officially launches on July 18, and will, “take listeners on a thrilling ride – based on the untold, mostly true tale of explorer, scientific legend and alleged spy, Tom Slick, the most interesting man you’ve never heard of.”
Wilson will portray the titular character who is on a quest in 1958 for the Yeti. Spacek will play Claire Slick, with Schuyler Fisk playing Liv Slick.
Tom Slick: Mystery Hunter is written by Jeb Stuart and Caroline Slaughter. Slaughter also directed and cast the podcast, with production support from producer and assistant director, Emilia Brock. The soundscape and score were crafted by Jesse Nighswonger.
