ABC’s fall television schedule has been released, including the premiere date for season 8 of 9-1-1! Fans of the first responder drama can expect to see the series make its return on September 26.
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, 9-1-1 explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders — including police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers — who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking, and heart-stopping situations.
Series stars include Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Guzman, Corinne Massiah, and Gavin McHugh.
With its midseason run, season 7 of 9-1-1 was the series’ shortest to date since its inaugural season back in 2018 (but, par for the course with this show, plenty of things still went down over the course of 10 episodes).
The eighth season of 9-1-1 will premiere on ABC on Thursday, September 26 at 8 p.m. ET. In the meantime, catch up on seasons 1-7 on Hulu.
