‘Our Flag Means Death’ Canceled After Two Seasons

Max has decided the pirate’s life is no longer for them, and the popular adventure romantic comedy series Our Flag Means Death has been canceled by the streamer after two seasons.

The series was created by David Jenkins and premiered in 2022, and immediately came beloved by those who turned in for the early episodes due to its wholesome sense of humor and lovable cast of pirates headed by Rhys Darby as Stede Bonnet, “The Gentleman Pirate.” The love for the series only increased tenfold when the series developed into a love story between Darby’s Stede and Taika Waititi’s Edward Teach, “Blackbeard”, with hundreds and thousands of fan-made content for the series popping up as the series progressed.

Season 2 just ran its course in October of 2023 and fortunately the season received a satisfying, beautiful, and well-constructed ending, which will now ultimately mark the series finale.
