Fans of Casey McQuiston’s bestselling queer romance Red, White & Royal Blue were excited last year to hear that Prime Video was adapting the novel for screen. Then when the film came out this summer, many fans were pleasantly surprised by the scenes that were pulled nearly word for word from the book. However, as it turns out, not all of those scenes made the final cut.

Prime Video just released a deleted scene of Alex and Henry at the Claremont-Diaz’s cabin outside Austin featuring Henry telling a story pulled straight from the pages of the book. Nicholas Galitzine shines in this emotional scene, and it is a can’t miss for fans of both the book and the movie.
