‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Season 8B Trailer: A Face From the Past Makes Surprising Return
Today AMC released the trailer for season 8B of Fear the Walking Dead.
The episodes pick up with a fallen Shrike (Maya Eshet) which “allows Madison (Kim Dickens) to set her sight on transforming PADRE into the safe haven the old Stadium was meant to be,” according to the synopsis from AMC. “But in doing so, the island becomes a target as well as a beacon as word of Madison and this land of resources spreads, attracting unwanted attention that puts PADRE back in peril and questions whether our heroes even deserve to save it.”
A group comes to Victor looking for Madison. “The wolves are circling,” he warns upon finding her. “I came here to help you.” The trailer also unveils a surprising return in Troy (Daniel Sharman) who was presumed dead at the hands of Madison in season 3. According to him, he’s coming to take what she did all those years ago. “You’re outnumbered. You’re outgunned. This doesn’t end well,” Troy says. “You took everything from me. I’m just doing the same for you.”
The final episodes premiere Sunday, October 22 at 9 p.m. ET/8c on AMC and AMC+ and will conclude on Sunday, November 19 with two back-to-back episodes.
