Paramount+ Releases First Look at New Season of ‘Frasier’

Paramount+ released a new teaser trailer and photos of its upcoming revival of the the hit TV series Frasier. The clip with be nostalgic for fans of the series as it features actor Kelsey Grammer, who portrays Frasier Crane, singing a updated version of the tune “Tossed Salads & Scrambled Eggs.”

This revival will follow Frasier after he returns to Boston after a few decades and tries to reconnect with old friends, faces new challenges, and tries to fulfill a dream or two.

Joining Grammer in the revival is Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier’s son Freddy; Nicholas Lyndhurst as Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor Alan; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve; and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David. This new iteration of Frasier comes from writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli , who also executive produce along with Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon.

The series is produced by CBS Studios, in association with Grammer’s Grammnet NH Productions.

Frasier will have 10 episode season which will premiere in the U.S and Canada on October 12 with two episodes and on October 13 in all other international markets with Paramount+. New episodes will then drop weekly on Thursdays and Fridays depending on location. In addition, the CBS Television Network will broadcast a special airing of the first two episodes back-to-back on October 17 beginning at 9:15 p.m. ET/PT.
