Sad news for Supernatural fans: The CW has announced that season one of The Winchesters will be its last. The prequel finished airing its freshman season a few months back.
Featuring guest stars from the original series as well as new characters, The Winchesters follows Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) as he uncovers the mystery of how his parents (Drake Rodger and Meg Donnelly) met. The cast also includes JoJo Fleites, Nida Khurshid, Demetria McKinney, and Bianca Kajlich.
There is no word yet on whether another network or streamer will step in to save the show. The Winchesters is available to watch now on the CW app. You can find our other coverage of the show here.
