The Ghost and Molly McGee returns this Saturday on Disney Channel, and a new clip from the premiere episode has been released. In it, a new family moves in across the street from the McGees, and they are practically quaking with anticipation. Scratch, though, is as grumpy as ever and not nearly as excited. He begins to make a remark about his “social circle,” but is quickly whisked away to the Ghost World.
The new family — the Chens — will be an integral part of the upcoming season. While the McGees can’t wait to make some new friends, they don’t know that the Chens are a family of ghost hunters. Meanwhile, Molly will face new teenage challenges, including her first period, an intense crush, and more.
The Ghost and Molly McGee is created and executive produced by Bill Motz and Bob Roth, with Steve Loter as executive producer. David Knott serves as co-executive producer and supervising director. Rob Cantor is the series songwriter, Madison Bateman is the story editor, and Britta Reitman produces. Series regular voice cast includes Ashly Burch, Dana Snyder, Michaela Dietz, Jordan Klepper, and Sumalee Montano. Alan Lee, Sue Ann Pien, Stephanie Sheh, and Leonard Wu join in recurring roles as the Chens.
The Ghost and Molly McGee Season 2 premieres Saturday, April 1, at 8 a.m. ET on Disney Channel, streaming the next day on Disney+. Stay tuned for our interview with Roth and Motz following the premiere episode. Watch the clip below:
