Molly McGee and her ghostly pal Scratch are back for more shenanigans next month as season 2 of The Ghost and Molly McGee premieres. The show is set to return on April 1 on Disney, and the official trailer has been released.
The series centers on Molly, an optimism-fueled tween who befriends a grumpy ghost named Scratch. When one of Scratch’s curses goes awry, he becomes eternally bound to Molly, creating an unlikely friendship. Season 2 will see Molly and Scratch face some hefty challenges. For starters, a ghost-hunting family, The Chens, move in across the street from the McGees. Meanwhile, in the Ghost World, a new chairman takes over. Additionally, the trailer reveals that Molly will face some new challenges as she grows up, including her first period, crushes, and more.
The Ghost and Molly McGee is created and executive produced by Bill Motz and Bob Roth, with Steve Loter as executive producer. David Knott serves as co-executive producer and supervising director. Rob Cantor is the series songwriter, Madison Bateman is story editor, and Britta Reitman produces.
Series regular voice cast includes Ashly Burch, Dana Snyder, Michaela Dietz, Jordan Klepper, and Sumalee Montano. Season 2 guest voice cast includes Tony Hale, Paul F. Tompkins, W. Earl Brown, Kimberly J. Brown, Lennon Parham, Vincent Rodriguez III, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Trejo, Jane Lynch, Liza Koshy, Jenifer Lewis, Pamela Adlon, Thomas Lennon, Patton Oswalt, and Jessica Keenan Wynn. New recurring voices include Alan Lee, Sue Ann Pien, Stephanie Sheh, and Leonard Wu as the Chens.
