‘Mrs. Davis’ Sets SXSW Activation and Sessions

Beginning this Friday, March 10, SXSW returns to Austin, TX for its next event. The multi-day festival showcases a variety of TV shows, films, and music, along with different sessions and interactive events. During this year’s festival, Peacock is bringing its upcoming series Mrs. Davis to attendees.

From Saturday, March 11 to Tuesday, March 14, Peacock is hosting an interactive quest that will bring attendees to various parts of Austin. Nuns will appear daily, and anyone who spots them is encouraged to snap a pic and post on social media tagging @Peacock and #MrsDavisGiveaway for a chance to win prizes.

Additionally, there will be two sessions for Mrs. Davis on March 12 and 13 leading to its world premiere on March 14:

Sunday, March 12 at 11:30 a.m. CT

The Hollywood Reporter x Canon present “MRS. DAVIS: THE FUTURE OF TECH & ENTERTAINMENT,” a conversation with Tara Hernandez & Damon Lindelof: The Hollywood Reporter and Canon AMLOS will cohost a panel and reception for Damon Lindelof and Tara Hernandez, the acclaimed creators, writers, and executive producers of Peacock’s upcoming original technology/AI-themed series Mrs. Davis. Lindelof is a 3-time Emmy Award winner and the creator of shows like Lost, Watchmen, and The Leftovers. Hernandez was previously a writer for The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon. The panel will be moderated by notable THR editor, James Hibberd (an expert in the fantasy, superhero space) and in collaboration with THR’s revered tech editor Carolyn Giardina.

Monday, March 13 at 4 p.m. CT

SXSW Featured Session: Careers & Collaboration with Tara Hernandez & Damon Lindelof: Join writer and co-executive producer of hit comedies The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon Tara Hernandez along with Emmy Award-winning creator, writer, and executive producer of drama juggernauts Lost, The Leftovers, and Watchmen Damon Lindelof in a conversation about their careers and exciting collaboration on their upcoming Peacock series, Mrs. Davis. The conversation will be moderated by The Ringer’s Senior Culture Writer, Joanna Robinson.

Tuesday, March 14 at 5 p.m. CT

Mrs. Davis World Premiere, Red Carpet Screening, and Q&A:

  • 4 – 4:55 p.m. CT: Red Carpet
  • 5 – 6:45 p.m. CT: Screening of episodes 101 & 102
  • 6:45 – 7:05 p.m. CT: Q&A with Tara Hernandez, Damon Lindelof, Betty Gilpin, Jake McDorman, and Andy McQueen. Moderated by Paste Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Josh Jackson.

Mrs. Davis premieres with its first four episodes Thursday, April 20 on Peacock. The remaining four episodes will release weekly on Thursdays.
