‘Stranger Things’ Prequel Play Coming to London in 2023
It has been announced that the play, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, will be coming to London in late 2023. The play is a prequel story to the popular Netflix series.
The play is set in 1959, but fans will still see some of the characters that they have come to know and love. “Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously, and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy … and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.”
This new story will be brought to life on the stage of London’s Phoenix Theatre. It is sure to be a hit with Stranger Things fans with the promise that “this gripping new adventure will take you right back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story — and may hold the key to the end.”
