Get your pixie dust ready for an exciting new trip to Neverland! This live-action movie is a creative mixture of J. M. Barrie’s book and the animated classic. Peter Pan & Wendy is heading to Disney’s streaming service on April 28.

Under the direction of David Lowery, this Peter Pan retelling is ready to bring Neverland to a whole new generation of kids. With the opening question, “Tell me, how did you come to Neverland?” the vibe of this film hints at being a breath of fresh air to this timeless story that has been told before. Follow the story of Wendy Darling and her brothers John and Michael, as their lives are thrust into an unexpected journey. Wherever Pan goes, mischief and adventures are sure to follow! Join the Darling siblings as they navigate this beautiful unknown land filled with fairies, lost boys, natives, and pirates.

Bringing to life Pan’s rival, the treacherous Captain Hook, is the talented Jude Law. Filling out the rest of Neverland’s colorful cast of characters are Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, and Jim Gaffigan. The trailer shows that the team behind Peter Pan & Wendy has put a great deal of thought and heart into this film. I cannot wait to see what is in store for viewers in this new version of Pan.

Viewers will be able to fly with Pan when Peter Pan & Wendy joins Disney+ on April 28.
