‘9-1-1’ and Angela Bassett Receive Nominations for Third Annual Critics Choice Super Awards

Nominations for the third annual Critics Choice Super Awards, which celebrates and honors the Superhero, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Horror, and Action genres in movie and TV, have been announced. Among those nominated include FOX’s first responder series 9-1-1 and Angela Bassett.

Bassett has nabbed nominations for Best Actress in a Superhero Movie for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Best Actress in an Action Series, Limited Series, or Made-for-TV Movie for 9-1-1. 9-1-1, meanwhile, was nominated for Best Action Series, Limited Series, or Made-for-TV Movie.

Winners of the Critics Choice Super Awards will be announced on Thursday, March 16. New episodes of 9-1-1 return on Monday, March 6 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX. Check out the rest of our coverage of the series here.
