‘Ghosts’ Star Danielle Pinnock Cast Alongside Eddie Murphy in Prime Video Holiday Comedy ‘Candy Cane Lane’

Known for playing Alberta Haynes on the CBS hit comedy Ghosts, Danielle Pinnock has been cast in a supporting role in the Prime Video holiday comedy Candy Cane Lane.

The comedy is currently filming in Los Angeles, but details of the plot are still unreleased. All we know is that it’s being directed by Reginal Hudlin, and the script was written by Kelly Younger, who based the story on her own childhood experiences. Alongside Pinnock and Eddie Murphy, the star-studded cast also includes Tracee Ellis Ross, Nick Offerman, Jillian Bell, Genneya Walton, Jillian Bell, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Robin Thede, and Chris Redd.

Candy Cane Lane will be the first film under a three-picture and first-look film deal between Eddie Murphy Productions and Amazon Studios. The movie will stream to over 240 countries and territories worldwide on Prime Video. Murphy and Charisse Hewitt-Webster are producing through Eddie Murphy Productions and working with Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder from Imagine Entertainment.

Pinnock is also working with Punam Patel to create an adult animated project called Unmentionables and LaNise Renee Frederick to develop a pilot for her viral sketch series, Hashtag Booked. There’s lots of good things in Pinnock’s future. This can only be the start for the star.
