As reported by TV Insider, The Flash‘s ninth and final season will be getting a special recurring guest in the form of Nicole Maines. Maines portrayed Nia Nal/Dreamer on one of The Flash‘s sister Arrowverse/CWverse shows, Supergirl.
Maines made history when she joined Supergirl back in 2018, becoming the first trans superhero on television. Outside of her career as an actress, Maines has also been a fierce advocate and activist for LGBTQIA+ rights.
The Flash returns for its ninth and final season on February 8. As always, stay tuned for more updates.
