Netflix Announces Premiere Date for Tim Burton’s ‘Wednesday’ Series

Today Netflix announced that its new series featuring everyone’s favorite Addams girl Wednesday will be making its debut on the streaming service on November 23. Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as the title character and follows Wednesday as she attends the mysterious Nevermore Academy, where she must learn to master her emerging psychic abilities while trying to solve a murder that may be connected to the Addams family.

Joining Ortega in the series are Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Victor Dorobantu, and George Burcea. The cast also includes Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Naomi J Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar serve as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers. Tim Burton also executive produces and directs four of the eight episodes. Gandja Monteiro and James Marshall serve as directors for the remaining episodes.
