Based on the best-selling series by Soman Chainani, Netflix released the trailer for its upcoming film The School for Good and Evil. This film follows two best friends, Agatha and Sophie, as they navigate keeping their friendship alive when they are forced into separate branches of the magical school they are whisked away to attend. Agatha is forced into joining the good branch of the school while Sophie is sent to the evil branch.
The film stars Sofia Wylie as Agatha and Sophia Anne Caruso as Sophie. Also starring in the film is an all-star cast that includes Charlize Theron, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Kingsley, Laurence Fishbourne, Kerry Washington, and Patti LuPone. Directing The School for Good and Evil is Paul Feig, who also wrote the screenplay along with David Magee.
