“Wayward Son” Coffee Coming Soon
Carry on, my wayward son, there’ll be coffee when you’re done? Coffeyville Coffee Co. is releasing a brand new roast called “Wayward Son,” based on the hit song “Carry on Wayward Son” by Kansas.
The company describes the coffee as a medium/dark roast and, “Organically-grown beans roasted in small batches with great attention to detail. That means every cup of Wayward Son will have the great taste you expect. Thoughtfully packaged in a compostable bag.”
The coffee was inspired by Kansas’ Phil Ehart, who states, “Carry On Wayward Son became our breakout hit after years of playing small-town venues — like the grand old Midland Theater in my hometown of Coffeyville. That is why profits from this coffee will be contributed to refurbish and sustain this magnificent theater. Thank you for joining me in this effort. I hope Wayward Son coffee helps you to carry on.”
It’s now available for pre-order and will ship on August 15. $4 from every sale will go towards the restoration of the Midland Theater.
