A new generation of liArs is about to be tormented. A new trailer for the upcoming HBO Max series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin has been released along with a new poster! Check out the trailer below.

Longtime fans of the ABC Family and Freeform hit Pretty Little Liars know all too well what it’s like to deal with A’s antics and it seems like this new one is turning things up a bit while also connecting to an earlier tragedy in the town of Millwood.

The official synopsis for the series reads:

“Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in present day, a disparate group of teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago…as well as their own. In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe — in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.”

Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco are the new Liars with Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson, and Alex Aiono also attached to the project.

Pretty Little Liars ran from 2010-2017 and spawned two one-season spinoffs with Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.

Don’t miss PLL: Original Sin premiering Thursday, July 28 on HBO Max! Check out our other coverage on the series here.
