The CW has announced that Tom Swift‘s first season will be its last. The Nancy Drew spin-off stars Tian Richards as the titular billionaire inventor, who was first introduced in season two of Nancy Drew. The series is halfway through airing its first season on the network and has been hailed for its groundbreaking LGBTQ representation, becoming the first broadcast series with a Black, gay male lead.

Tom Swift also stars Ashleigh Murray, Marquise Vilsón, Albert Mwangi, and April Parker Jones alongside Richards. The series airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. You can find the rest of our coverage of the series here.

I am a nurse and dedicated nerd from Boston, MA. When I'm not at work, I'm rewatching old favorites like Supernatural or discovering my new obsessions (too many to count!). When not fangirling, I can be found reading, writing, or listening to a true crime podcast. You can find me on Twitter @juleswritesblog for more nerdy nonsense.
