After debuting a teaser for the eagerly anticipated prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Lionsgate has announced the next wave of casting for the film. Jerome Lance, Ashley Liao, Knox Gibson, Mackenzie Lansing, and Aamer Husain will join previously announced leads Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler.

Lance, Gibson, and Lansing will play tributes Marcus (District 2), Bobbin (District 8), and Coral (District 4) respectively, while Liao and Husain will play mentors Clemensia Dovecote and Felix Ravinstill. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes follows the events of the 10th Hunger Games with a young Coriolanus Snow (Blyth) mentoring Lucy Gray Baird (Zegler) as he becomes the cold hearted leader we know from the main Hunger Games series.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will premiere in theaters November 17, 2023.
