It’s time to get the party started; What We Do in the Shadows returns with its highly-anticipated fourth season on July 12, 2022, and to help celebrate, FX has released the teaser trailer for the upcoming season.
Based on the mockumentary movie What We Do in the Shadows (2014), the FX original series gives a comedic look into the nightly lives of four vampires who have lived together for 100 years. Now, the group lives in Staten Island with hopes of taking over the United States while adjusting to modern life.
Season 3 of What We Do in the Shadows premiered last September and contained 10 episodes. The pursuit of world domination took a seat on the back burner as everyone’s favorite vampires focused their attention on running the vampiric council. Guillermo, Nandor’s familiar, upgraded his status to bodyguard, using his vampire hunting skills to protect his friends who now find themselves with an even bigger target on their backs. The season ended with the group parting ways after Nandor and Guillermo went to blows testing their loyalty. Nadja received a dream offer, and the audience learned the fate of Colin Robinson, leaving them with a wild cliffhanger.
