‘The Gray Man’: It’s Gosling vs. Evans in First Official Trailer For Netflix’s Summer Blockbuster

The first official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming spy thriller The Gray Man has finally dropped.

The Russo brothers directed flick, based on the novel by Mark Greaney, follows Court Gentry (Gosling), a former CIA operative and current freelance assassin as his former cohort from the CIA, Lloyd Hansen (Evans), searches for him across the globe. Joe and Anthony Russo, along with Avengers: Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, penned the script. The Russos have also produced under their AGBO umbrella.

The film stars Ryan Gosling as the Gray Man, Court Gentry a.k.a Sierra Six, Chris Evans as Lloyd Hansen a.k.a. TrashStache, along with Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Dhanush, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, Regé-Jean Page, Eme Ikwuakor, Scott Haze, and Julia Butters.

New posters for the film were also released yesterday.

The Gray Man will release in select theaters July 15 and on Netflix for streaming July 22.
