‘The Boys’ Season 3 Official Trailer Released

Share:

Nearly two years of patience is about to pay off, because season 3 of Prime Video’s deliciously diabolical superhero series The Boys is almost here. Ahead of the June premiere date, the official trailer for the upcoming season has just dropped.

Strap in, people, because it looks like we’re in for another incredibly wild ride.

The Boys is based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The show is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes — who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods — abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as the Boys continue on a heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven, and Vought — the multi-billion dollar conglomerate that manages these superheroes and covers up all of their dirty secrets.

The season 3 synopsis is as follows:

“It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into the Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy.”

Series stars include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and more.

An array of newcomers will be entering the fray this season, including Jensen Ackles, Laurie Holden, Katia Winter, Miles Gaston Villanueva, Sean Patrick Flanery, Nick Wechsler, Frances Turner, Kristin Booth, and Jack Doolan, among others.

Catch the first three episodes of season 3 of The Boys exclusively on Prime Video on June 3. The remaining five episodes will premiere weekly on Fridays. Stay tuned for all of our series coverage, including episodic recaps, reviews, and more.
