If you’ve ever wondered what the world of animation is like and the personalities behind some of your favorite animated characters, look no further than I Hear Voices. The podcast is hosted by Christy Carlson Romano and Will Friedle, who were the voices of Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, respectively, on Disney’s Kim Possible.
Episodes of the podcast premiere every Friday. Romano and Friedle bring on guests from different mediums of voiceover talent. Previous guests have included EG Daily, Kevin Conroy, and Eric Bauza, who discuss how they got into the world of voiceover and how their love for the arts has inspired them to get to the place they are today.
In the most recent episode, the duo spoke with Andrea Romano, a voice director who put together the casts of iconic animated shows such as Teen Titans, The Legend of Korra, and Ben 10. They talked about her early years as an agent and how when she’s looking at auditions how she tries to give everyone, even those who haven’t acted before, a chance at the character.
