Ken Jeong Joins ‘The Afterparty’ for Season 2

As first reported by Deadline, Ken Jeong will be joining the murder-mystery comedy series The Afterparty for season 2 on Apple TV+.

The series, which first aired in January 2022, dedicates an episode to each characters’ account of the evening of a murder. What makes the series so different is that each episode uses a different popular film genre for each characters’ retelling.

Deadline has also revealed that Jeong (The Hangover) will be playing the character Feng, and that the second season will revolve around a murder at a wedding.

Jeong is not the only new-comer for season 2. He will also be joined by Elizabeth Perkins (Sharp Objects), Zach Woods (The Other Guys), Paul Walter Hauser (I, Tonya), Poppy Liu (Hacks), Anna Konkle (Rosewood), Jack Whitehall (Jungle Cruise), and Vivian Wu (The Last Emperor). They will be joining returning cast members Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Sam Richardson (Veep), and Zoë Chao (Love Life).

We can’t wait to check out this second series! Make sure you check back with Nerds & Beyond for all of the latest news on this series and more.
