Cobra Kai never dies; it expands. Netflix has announced that their Karate Kid sequel series will return with season 5 on Friday, September 9. Along with the announcement, the streamer released a teaser trailer, which you can find below.

Season 5 will pick up where season 4 ended. Following the win at the All Valley Tournament, Terry Silver and the rest of Cobra Kai set up new dojos throughout the valley, with no Miyagi-Do or Eagle Fang to stop them. With Kreese currently in jail and Johnny on a road trip to find Miguel, Daniel turns to an old friend for help.

Cobra Kai stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith, Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Peyton List, Tanner Buchanan, Courtney Henggeler, and more. Yuji Okumoto will reprise his role as Chozen for season 5.
