Apple TV+’s ‘The Essex Serpent’ Trailer Released
Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for The Essex Serpent starring Claire Danes and Tom Hiddleston.
The Essex Serpent follows London widow Cora Seaborne (Claire Danes) who moves to Essex to investigate reports of a mythical serpent. She forms a surprising bond of science and skepticism with the local pastor (Tom Hiddleston), but when tragedy strikes, locals accuse her of attracting the creature.
The series stars Danes and Hiddleston along with Frank Dillane, Hayley Squires, and Clémence Poésy. Based on the book of the same name by Sarah Perry, the series is written by Anna Symon and directed by Clio Barnard, both BAFTA nominees.
Premiering Friday, May 13 with its first two episodes and the final four releasing each subsequent Friday, the six-episode series will conclude on June 10. It will air exclusively on Apple TV+.
