‘The Boys’ Season 3 Synopsis Added to Prime Video
Just over a month remains until the long-awaited premiere of the third season of Prime Video’s hit series The Boys. Since the release of the teaser trailer last month, fans have eagerly been speculating over what diabolical events will take place this time around.
Yesterday, The Boys’ official Twitter account shared a thread of tweets with a fake lumberjack-esque synopsis for season 3, inspired by Jensen Ackles’ recent Instagram post. In the meantime, the real synopsis appears to have found its way to Prime Video’s official streaming page for season 3, which can be found here.
“It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into the Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy.”
The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and more.
Season 3 will include an array of new faces, including Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess, Katia Winter as Little Nina, Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic, Sean Patrick Flanery as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk, Frances Turner as M.M.’s wife Monique, and Kristin Booth and Jack Doolan as the TNT Twins.
Catch the first three episodes of The Boys season 3 when they land on Prime Video on June 3. The remaining five episodes will premiere weekly on Fridays.
