‘Abbott Elementary’ Launches Think Outside the (Lunch) Box Campaign
Abbot Elementary has captured the hearts of the public, not just because of its hilarity, but its attention to real issues in the American education system. The show has already used its platform for good, partnering with DonorsChoose.org to host a supply drive for underfunded classrooms. Now, Abbott Elementary is launching the Think Outside the (Lunch) Box Campaign.
This campaign, aimed at donating 150,000 meals to Feeding America to increase knowledge about food insecurity, will run from April 11- April 15, with WBTV partnering with influencers/chefs Eitan Bernath (see Instagram and TikTok) and Ahmad Alzahabi (see Instagram and TikTok). On their platforms, the respective chefs will talk about food insecurity and create lunchbox meals. However, before this occurs, WBTV will release a special Abbott Elementary school menu, which includes the two chefs’ schedules for the week.
Abbott Elementary‘s season 1 finale premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on ABC. Don’t forget to tune in to both this campaign (which you can donate to here — every dollar donated helps provide at least 10 meals to a family in need) and what’s sure to be an amazing ending of this show’s freshman season.
