Jake Gyllenhaal will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! ahead of his newest movie release, Ambulance. The movie releases exclusively in theaters April 8.
Ambulance stars Emmy winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Candyman) as decorated veteran Will Sharp, who is desperate for money to cover his wife’s medical bills. Due to desperation, Will asks for help from the one person he knows he shouldn’t — his adoptive brother Danny, brought to the screen by Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (The Guilty). A charming career criminal, Danny instead offers Will an opportunity to solve all of his financial problems: the biggest bank heist in Los Angeles history. To save his wife, Will can’t say no.
Ambulance is directed and produced by Michael Bay. Producing alongside Bay is Bradley J. Fischer (Zodiac) for New Republic Pictures, James Vanderbilt (2022’s Scream), and William Sherak (2022’s Scream) for Project X, and Oscar nominee Ian Bryce (Private Ryan). The screenplay is by Chris Fedak (Prodigal Son), based on the original story and screenplay for the 2005 Danish thriller Ambulancen by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC, and you can check out the trailer for Ambulance below.
