The CW has released yet another casting announcement for Supernatural prequel The Winchesters. Demetria McKinney (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne) has been added to the production in the role of Ada Monroe. The character description describes Ava as an intelligent bookstore owner who also takes interest in the world of the occult.
McKinney joins the previously announced series regulars Meg Donnelly, Drake Rodger, Nida Khurshid, Jojo Fleites, and Bianca Kajlich. The Winchesters is executive produced by Jensen and Danneel Ackles through Chaos Machine Productions along with another Supernatural alum, Robbie Thompson, who is signed on as a writer as well.
