The viscount and his new viscountess are here to stay. Simone Ashley has confirmed that she and Jonathan Bailey will return as Kate and Anthony Bridgerton for the series’ third season!

Simone Ashley shared the news exclusively with Deadline, promising that the newest Bridgerton love match is just getting started. The actress stated that she hopes Kate will get to ease into her life with the viscount more in seasons going forward, being “much braver and less headstrong and more heart strong.”

Season 2 of Bridgerton was the most-viewed program in a premiere weekend for the streamer yet, with audiences captivated by the slow burn of the eldest Bridgerton and Kate Sharma. A new showrunner will take over in season 3, Jess Brownell, and while we don’t know which sibling will take the lead for the upcoming season, it’s a relief to know we haven’t seen the last of the Viscount and Viscountess Bridgerton.

Check out all of our Bridgerton season 2 coverage and stay tuned for more in season 3!
