A film adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s New York Times best-selling historical fiction novel The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is heading to Netflix with the adaption by Liz Tigelaar (Little Fires Everywhere, Life Unexpected).
The exciting news came via Netflix Film’s official Twitter page.
The novel follows the story of a fictional Hollywood starlit named Evelyn Hugo, who, at the age of 79, gives a final interview with an unknown journalist, Monique Grant. Evelyn talks about her life during the Golden Age of Hollywood, her rise to fame, and her seven marriages while revealing some of her most unbelievable secrets and lies.
According to Deadline, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is being produced by Liza Chasin for 3Dot Productions and Brad Mendelsohn for Circle of Confusion, continuing Netflix’s partnership with Chasin and 3Dot.
