A new face has been added to the cast of Prime Video’s upcoming spin-off of its hit diabolical superhero series, The Boys. Joining the untitled show is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s Chance Perdomo, who portrayed Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series. This news was first revealed by Deadline. Perdomo’s casting comes on the heels of the news of Shane Paul McGhie and Aimee Carrero’s departure from the series.

Set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), this spin-off is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.

Jaz Sinclair, Reina Hardesty, Lizze Broadway, and Maddie Phillips are also set to star in the show. Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as showrunners.

In speaking about the spin-off, The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has said, “Much like Mork & Mindy spun-off from Happy Days — which is an insane and true fact — our spin-off will exist in the Vought Cinematic Universe, yet have a tone and style all its own. It’s our take on a college show, with an ensemble of fascinating, complicated, and sometimes deadly Young Supes.”

It’s unclear when we’ll see this spin-off make its way to our screens, but for now, audiences can look forward to season 3 of The Boys, which is due to premiere on Prime Video on June 3. In case you missed it, check down our breakdown of the season 3 teaser trailer.
