Two hit drama series from ITV Studios, The Suspect and Showtrial, will soon be coming to AMC Networks’ streaming platform, Sundance Now. They will both premiere on the streaming platform and AMC+ in the USA later in the year and exclusively on Sundance Now in Canada.

The Suspect stars Aidan Turner (The Hobbit trilogy) as Joe O’Loughlin, a clinical psychologist with a seemingly perfect life. However, when a girl is murdered, he becomes involved in the murder case. He ends up caught in a web of lies that has you questioning everything you think you know about Joe. The five-part series is based on the novel by Michael Robotham. It also stars Sian Clifford (Fleabag), Shaun Parkes (The Mummy Returns), Camilla Beeput (Peep Show), and Adam James (Vigil).

Showtrial stars Tracy Ifeachor (The Originals) as Criminal Solicitor Cleo Roberts. She represents Talitha Campbell, who has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of student Hannah Ellis. The trial catches the attention of the media and Cleo is thrown into the spotlight as the audience tries to figure out whether Talitha is a scapegoat or a murderer. Showtrial also stars Celine Buckens (Bridgerton) and James Frain (Star Trek: Discovery).

Shannon Cooper, Vice President of Programming for Sundance Now, said: “We’re delighted to grow our relationship with ITV Studios with these sought-after titles packed with riveting storylines, breath-taking performances and top-quality production.”

Make sure you check these amazing dramas out later this year on Sundance Now and AMC+!
