The famous tale we know so well has added a new name to their cast! While the Beauty and the Beast prequel still has no official title, the names attached to the project are amazingly talented!

Joining the prequel will be the immensely talented musician Rita Ora! She will join Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Briana Middleton, Jelani Allen, and Fra Fee to bring to life a cast of colorful characters. Evans and Gad are reprising their roles as Gaston and LaFou from the 2017 Beauty and the Beast remake.

For now not much is known about the series, but fans are excited for what is to come. Ora’s character will be a runaway type that hides a potentially lifechanging secret that could put the kingdom at risk. The show will follow Evans and Gad’s characters on what is sure to be some highly entertaining adventures.

Prequel showrunners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are highly familiar with bringing fairytales to life. These two brought the series Once Upon A Time to our screens for years and now Gad will join them as co-showrunners. The series pilot will be directed by Tony Award nominee Liesl Tommy. Tommy will also be joining Evans and Gad as executive producers. Be sure to follow Nerds & Beyond to stay up to date as the series continues to develop!
