Paramount+ has announced that The Marfa Tapes will be premiering exclusively on the streaming service on January 20. The documentary film will give a sneak peek into the making of the Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, and Jon Randall album of the same name.

The Marfa Tapes is an album that was recently nominated for Best Country Album at the 64th Grammy Awards. The album was recorded in the remote Marfa, Texas with just microphones and acoustic guitars by Ingram, Lambert, and Randall. It was largely recorded outdoors with the sounds of the desert adding to the atmospheric nature of the gorgeous songs.

The documentary gives fans an insight into the making of the album by these country legends. The documentary includes candid interviews and behind-the-scenes footage shot during a five-day recording session in November 2020. Make sure you watch the trailer below!

The Marfa Tapes will also be premiering on the same day on Paramount+ in the Nordics, Australia, Latin America, and Canada. Make sure you check it out!
