Chris Evans and Ana de Armas are reuniting for a third film as de Armas replaces previously cast Scarlett Johansson in the upcoming action-adventure romance film Ghosted for Apple.

Johansson has dropped out due to scheduling conflicts, as the production is aiming to get underway by February of 2022. The film will be directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman, Bohemian Rhapsody) and written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese of Deadpool and Zombieland. Evans, Reese, and Wernick will also produce alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger of Skydance.

Evans and de Armas have already starred in the Oscar-nominated murder/mystery from Rian Johnson Knives Out in 2019 and will both be featured in the upcoming high stakes thriller The Gray Man for Netflix from Evans’ fellow Marvel alums the Russo Brothers set to release next year.
